Position is part of the internal IT organization of one of the world's largest telecomunication companies. The new Center of Excellence is launched in accordance with the company' s global strategy to balance operations between US, EMEA, APAC.

JOB DESCRIPTION, RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Installing, configuration and maintaining of OS servers ( HP-UX, IBM-AIX, Linux, Solaris)
• Responsible for administration of over 30000 Unix servers
• SW installation and up-grades to OS
• Monitors and tunes the system
• Ensures server data integrity
• Backup
• HW and SW audits of server
• Incident, change, problem and performance management for UNIX OS and HW.
• Interfaces with other technical teams (network, storage, application)

PERSONALITY REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

• University degree
• Fluent in English
• 1-3 years of experience and knowledge of technical principles and methods within System Administration.
• Experience with one of OS platforms: AIX, HP-UX, LINUX, Solaris
• System support and trouble analysis
• Storage (SAN, Network Attached)
• Basic Clustering concepts
• Virtualization
